Heather is Engaged!!!
It has been a long time since I last posted something on this blog. I guess it is time to post a very important event in our family. You can tell by the title that Heather is Engaged. We are very excited!!! She met KR Stevens at BYU and they have been dating for about 2 years. He proposed to her just before Thanksgiving. They will be married in the San Diego Temple on May 8th. We are happy to welcome KR into our family. Here are the pictures:

About Time
It has been almost a year since I last posted on my blog. I got a laptop so maybe I can do it more often now.
The girls had fun at christmas making a snowman at Grandma and Grandpa Schultz's house in the "Desert".

We have been working every free minute to fix our house. Back in November we had a water leak under our house. The insurance paid a company to come in and further destroy it! They ripped out all the wood floors, made big holes in the walls to re-route pipes and pulled up some carpet that got wet. They put us up in a hotel for a few days while they did the work and got it dried out. When we came back our house was pretty much a huge mess. Every room on the main floor was effected.
We received a check from the insurance company to put it back together. We decided that if I do a "little" of the work myself we could use some of the money to do some upgrades. Well one thing lead to another and we have been working non stop for 3 months.
The good news is we are about done! We started with tiling the floors(over 700 sq feet). It was my great idea to use a different color tile for the boarder(this makes the job harder). It was Linda who wanted the tile set on an angle and a very small grout line(even harder). This took the most time of all the jobs I did. We are happy with the final outcome.

Not too bad is it?
We did many more "projects" in putting our house back together. We patched dry wall and re-textured them, re-did two bathrooms, built a fire place, replaced all the doors in the house with 6 panel doors, put new base boards in the whole downstairs, new chair railing in the family room and then had the complete downstairs painted.
Here are some of the finished product:
The new fireplace.
Another one.
the kids bathroom.
the guest bathroom.
I could write much more but I am sooooo tired. Until next post...it could be a year...take care.
